Homelessness Prevention

Family Promise assists 150+ families each month with intensive stability services. These families receive rapid rehousing and homelessness prevention support to stabilize quickly. Our Family Advocates build on the strengths of each family to create long-term stability.

• Weekly case management with Family Advocates
• Rent and utility assistance
• Eviction prevention through Hendricks County Courts
• Basic needs assistance
• Resource Center (internet, computers, phone, laundry, showers)
• Childcare
• Assistance securing permanent housing
• Preventing eviction and loss of housing
• Living-wage job placement
• Transportation assistance
• Linkage with social services and public assistance
• Graduate services for up to 2 years
• Immigrant Services
• Legal assistance
• Mental health and substance use disorder support
