Permanent Supportive Housing

Family Promise of Hendricks County's Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Program provides long-term, scattered-site transitional housing with voluntary, client-centered supportive services for individuals and families experiencing chronic homelessness. The intended outcomes are to help participants obtain and maintain permanent housing, increase income and employment, improve health and well-being, enhance self-sufficiency, and reduce returns to homelessness.

Participants receive individualized case management that includes housing stabilization, benefits enrollment, financial literacy, budgeting, employment coaching, transportation assistance, healthcare coordination, and connections to behavioral health and substance use treatment. Participation in supportive services is required and tailored to each participant's goals.
